“Aerobleu” is just as unique as her name. She is the original model of the Cape Dory 36, and is in excellent condition. One needs to actually SEE THIS BOAT to appreciate her beauty.
She has had only three owners, and the first owners sailed her on Lake Michigan each season, and stored her inside the rest of the year. The current owners sail on Lake Pontchartrain, thus “Aerobleu” has never been in salt water. She is a FRESH WATER BOAT.
While remaining true to her original design, “Aeroblue” has received many upgrades to enhance her owners cruising comfort. Reverse Cycle air conditioning, a bulkhead mounted wood burning heater, and a Force 10 propane galley stove and Adler Barbour Refrigeration are below decks upgrades. On deck, a manual windlass, self tailing jib winches, Harken furlers for both jib and staysail, and dodger & full bimini enclosure canvas, make cruising a pleasure.
Her beautiful navy custom cushions are not only beautiful but very comfortable showing no wear or tears.
For those seeking a very well cared for CLASSIC, CRUISING vessel, “Aerobleu” should definitely be considered.
Last Haul Out & Bottom Job ~ 2013.
